People with low self esteem can be upset by ‘disconfirming feedback.’ In other words if something happens which indicates that they may not be as terrible as they thought, it can feel disturbing as it contradicts their way of perceiving. Healthy self esteem needs to emerge subtly, not as a sudden result of hearing you are ‘really special’ or ‘fantastic’.

- Anxiety and emotional turmoil
- Lack of social skills and self confidence. Depression and/or bouts of sadness
- Less social conformity
- Eating disorders
- Inability to accept compliments

- Treating yourself badly but NOT other people
- Worrying whether you have treated others badly
- Reluctance to take on challenges
- Reluctance to trust your own opinion
- Expect little out of life for yourself

However instead of dwelling on the situation you may be in and remaining negative. You must find a way to be positive. Yes it can be difficult you say how can I remain positive while I am going through this in my life. However if you wish to achieve success you must begin learning today what all successful people have done.
You are no different than anyone else. We are all experiencing things in our lives whether wanted or unwanted; because of where we have chosen to put a majority of our focus. You can begin today to build your self esteem and confidence and learn the secret that has made people successful and wealthy in all areas of their lives. Some of the times, once totally our doubtfulnesses, fearfulnesses and insecurities enclose ourselves up, we ever arise with the thought of “I wish I was somebody else.”Generally, we believe and think that somebody or rather, most of the people are better than us.- when in truth, the fact is, most of the people are more frighted than us.
You spot a totally attention-getting young woman sitting down by herself at a party, casually sipping on a glass of Asti Spumanti. You suppose to yourself, “she appears absolutely confident and calm .” However if you could read through her clear mind, you can see a bunch of fogs of opinions and you may just be amazed that she is believing “are people discussing why I’m sitting here lonely?… Why do not men find me beautiful? …I do not like my ankle joints, they are looking too skinny… I wish I was as well-informed like my best friend.” Read the rest of this entry…
