Having an unhealthy body due to lack of exercise and poor eating habits can affect your life in many ways. It can also affect your love life!

When you begin a relationship with somebody, you desire it to endure as long as possible. A healthy relationship can help you achieve that. In order to have a strong and happy relationship with somebody, you want to possess a healthy body and mind.

How do you make a relationship healthy? A healthy mind is when you have secure self-esteem and confidence about who you are and what you desire out of life. A healthy mind gives you independence so that you trust in yourself to get things done and do not become co-dependent on your mate.

An unhealthy mind is when you have little or no self-esteem and no self-confidence. The lines of communicating become absent because you recede into your own world and just look to your mate for direction in your life, which puts a burden on your lover.

A healthy body, simply put, is when you take care of yourself. You make an effort to sustain a healthy weight and you care about your appearance and how you feel on a day-to-day basis. You don’t do anything that would induce damage to your body over time.

You exercise on a regular basis to keep your heart in tip-top condition and eat a sensible diet, splurging now and then as a reinforcement. Your attitude is positive which makes your mate want to spend time with you.

An unhealthy body is when you do not care enough about yourself to take care of your body. You smoke and drink more than you should and let yourself go. You eat junk food frequently and your waist is inflating.

You do not try to work out or do things that would keep your heart strong. Your mental attitude is very low, making your relationship collapse because your mate no longer wishes to spend any time with you. You can not fault him or her because if you can not even love yourself, why should your partner?

Once your mind and body are in sync with each other, you can acquire a positive attitude, which keeps the line of communication going with your mate. It lets you to listen to them and helps you support them if they need it. You are more likely to do whatever it takes to keep your relationship in first-rate shape so that it continues to mature.

Stop those pitfalls of an unhealthy mind and stop the pitfalls of poor physical health. Setbacks are a given, but do not let them lead to an unhealthy mind or impact your health for the long-term. Keep your body, mind and relationship strong.

Ever notice all the lack of positivity around you? My oldest son had try-outs for competitive soccer these past two weekends. It was in a dome, an inside field, as there is lots of snow outside and playing on a soccer field is not an option. It is well made with soccer fields surrounded by a track field inside a huge dome.

The parents have to stay on the other side of the track field and not come onto or even close to the soccer field. And all I heard for the past two weekends around me was how people were tired of waiting while they play. It was hard on the back to sit where there is no support for the back and hard on the legs to stand up. The try-outs were just an hour and a half. For the most part, only 3 session in those 2 weekends. I could hear all that negativity around me. I tried to ignore them and enjoy the try-outs. I tried to observe how my son did compared to the others, because you know the first question out of a 9 year old will be:” How did I do?”.

What I knew, and still amazed me during that time happened after the try-outs. The kids of those parents were the negative ones about their performance on the field. They were the ones convinced they did not make the team. And the parents were shocked at their attitude about their performance. The positive parents, the parents I hung around with, had the more positive kids. They were the kids that are convinced they have a shot at being on the team. Now my son on the other hand, he came out and said: “I made the team.” He is really convinced. He did well, I have to admit. And I am convinced they will recognize it as well and give him a spot. My point is we transfer our attitude to our children. If we think our kids don’t have that positive attitude towards life, then we should look at ourselves before we tell them to change their attitude.

We choose who we want to be and in the process, teach it to our kids. We owe them, better yet, it is our responsability to show them how to have a great attitude about life and live by that attitude. The performance will follow our attitude, our mindset. It is the same in our business, love life, etc. The attitude we possess his our choice. Wear your best attitude for 30 days and when you see yourself being negative, change on the spot and think positive. And tell me what your result were after 30 days and see for yourself.

It would appear positive thinking and Attention Deficit Disorder have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

Many people with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) seem easily to develop negative thinking patterns this is brought about by being frustrated by challenges and having the frequent feeling of being overwhelmed, which inevitably leads to a negative outlook and can make it harder for them to manage the challenges and go forward.

6. Become More Tactile In this high tech western world we have become more isolated and tend to insulate ourselves from physical contact with other people. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you about the benefits of a good hug. An instant pick-me-up can be achieved by positive physical contact.

The practice of Lovin’, Touchin’ & Squeezin’ friends, loved ones, and even pets can instantly change how you feel for the better and so change your thinking and inevitably change your actions and therefore your day. One research study on this subject had a waitress touch some of her customers on the arm as she handed them their checks. 7. Throw Away Ungrounded Fears Low self esteem or the fear of not being liked or accepted can lead us to believe we know what others are thinking, but these fears are usually not real. We can develop a fear that a friend or family member’s bad mood is a result of something we said or have done.

The fear that colleagues at work or neighbours are secretly gossiping behind our back can be very real for some people. The solution is to speak up and ask them. Don’t be afraid and waste valuable time and sleepless nights worrying that you did something wrong, unless you have proof that there is something to worry about.

To achieve success we need to have a positive attitude. We can achieve this by using positive thinking and self-talk. People who succeed need to think positive and tell themselves that they can do it.


Being positive and telling yourself that you can do something like reaching that big dream you have for the future will change your attitude and make those dreams come true. Tell yourself that you can do it instead of thinking negative and let your self-think that the dream is too big you’ll never make it that far. This is called affirmatives, which bring nice rewards.


If we think about negative things, our mind will talk us right out of doing something especially if it seems scary. Don’ pay attention to those negative notions; jump in there by thinking positive, like “I can do this.” 


Our attitudes depend on how we are thinking.  If we think negative thoughts, we will be unhappy making our attitude stinks. When we are happy, thinking positive things, our attitude will be happy and we in turn can be happier around others as well as ourselves.  We have to be happy with our self in order to have a good attitude on life.


Find out why you are holding a grudge about something. Think about how you got this rotten attitude and what can you do to change how you feel. Make a list of all the things that made you angry and what made you angry with yourself. Now prioritize the list with the worst one on top and work your way down until the bottom is the most less that bothers you.


Now make some suggestions on how to eliminate this list in order for you to like yourself and those around you. Changing is not going to be easy and some people might make fun of you or get mad but do what you have to do in order to change your attitude from being negative to positive.


You can’t have a positive thinking and self talk if you’re not happy with yourself. Think positive and tell yourself you are going to make these changes in order to be the kind of person in your dreams.


If you haven’t already made of list of dreams and goals, you want than do that right now.  Make your list of dreams and goals that you really have to work for in order to achieve them. When you are writing you may be thinking negative things like “I’ll never be able to get this dream” but you can by changing your attitude on life and using your power of positive thinking and self-talk.


Feel like a new person with an attitude adjustment; remember that if your thinking negative than that is how you’re going to feel. Positive thinking and self-talk will make you think happy giving you better health as well. 


Think happy things by positive thinking will get you a long ways towards your goals for the future.


Relieving stress by thinking positive things will help you prevent health problems. Stress can and will cause you high blood pressure, heart diseases, strokes and high cholesterol.  Start relieving stress with positive thinking and self-talk.


Tell yourself that you’re going to be a happy person today. Everyday you’re going to learn to smile more, learn a new skill, and do something positive for yourself.  These and many others thinking positive will help relieve stress and help to putting your life on track with better health.
